Moolah Points Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 4, 2026
Last Updated: September 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Vitreous Alliance INC, doing business as Moolah Points (“Moolah,” “Moolah Points,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use Moolah Points.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Moolah Points mobile application, website, web-based enrollment pages, QR-code enrollment, standalone devices, kiosks, participating point-of-sale integrations, loyalty programs, customer accounts, communications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
A retailer, restaurant, store, business, or other organization using Moolah to provide loyalty benefits to customers is referred to as a “Participating Merchant.”
This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Moolah Points Terms & Conditions and, where applicable, our Moolah Points Messaging Terms & Conditions.
1. Information We Collect
The information Moolah collects depends on how you use the Services, the Participating Merchants with which you enroll, the features you use, and the permissions you provide.
Account and Contact Information
When you create or use a Moolah account, we may collect information such as your name, mobile telephone number, email address, birthday or date of birth where applicable, account identifiers, merchant enrollment information, and communication preferences.
Loyalty and Transaction Information
When you use Moolah with a Participating Merchant, we may collect or receive information relating to qualifying transactions and loyalty activity. This may include transaction amounts, participating store or outlet information, purchase activity, eligible products or categories, visits, points earned, points redeemed, point transfers, Store Credit redemption activity, rewards, coupons, campaign participation, offer redemption, and related loyalty information.
Moolah generally processes this information to operate the loyalty program and provide the Services. Moolah does not need full payment-card information merely to operate ordinary loyalty-point functionality unless a specific Service expressly requires it.
Merchant Enrollment Information
We may collect information about the Participating Merchants and outlets with which you enroll, subscribe, interact, earn points, redeem points, participate in campaigns, or otherwise use Moolah.
Communication Information
We may collect your communication preferences, including whether you have chosen to receive SMS/MMS, email, push notifications, or other communications.
Where applicable, we may also maintain records relating to your consent, including the date and time of consent, consent status, source or method of consent, the disclosure presented when consent was obtained, withdrawal of consent, and opt-out activity.
Device and Usage Information
When you access Moolah through a website, application, or device, we may automatically collect information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, application version, device identifiers, pages or features used, dates and times of access, diagnostic information, crash information, and other technical or usage information.
Location Information
Certain Moolah features may use location information where the feature requires it and where you have provided the necessary device permission.
For example, location information may be used to help identify nearby Participating Merchants or provide location-related functionality.
You may manage location permissions through your device settings.
2. How We Collect Information
Moolah may collect personal information directly from you when you create an account, enter information in the Moolah application or website, enroll through a QR code, verify your mobile number, manage communication preferences, transfer points, contact customer support, or otherwise interact with the Services.
We may also receive information from Participating Merchants and participating POS systems when you identify your Moolah account during a qualifying transaction or otherwise interact with a merchant’s loyalty program.
Information may also be collected automatically through websites, applications, devices, cookies or similar technologies, and technical systems used to provide and secure the Services.
3. Mobile Number and OTP Verification
Moolah may use your mobile telephone number to identify your account and may send a one-time password (“OTP”) or verification code to verify that you have access to that number.
OTP verification is used for account or security purposes and does not by itself constitute consent to receive promotional SMS or MMS messages.
Where promotional messaging consent is required, it is requested separately.
Additional rules concerning promotional SMS and MMS communications are described in the Moolah Points Messaging Terms & Conditions.
4. How We Use Personal Information
Moolah may use personal information to create and manage customer accounts; identify customers at Participating Merchants; operate loyalty programs; calculate, award, redeem, transfer, reverse, or adjust points; provide rewards, coupons, Store Credit redemption, and other loyalty benefits; process merchant enrollment; verify mobile numbers; operate applications, websites, standalone devices, kiosks, and POS integrations; provide customer support; detect fraud or abuse; maintain security; troubleshoot technical issues; analyze and improve Moolah; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We may also use information to understand how customers interact with Moolah and Participating Merchants and to improve loyalty programs, features, campaigns, and the overall customer experience.
5. Participating Merchants and Loyalty Information
When you enroll with a Participating Merchant, Moolah processes information necessary to operate that merchant’s loyalty program.
The Participating Merchant may have access to information reasonably necessary to manage its relationship with enrolled customers, such as customer identification information, merchant-specific loyalty activity, points balances, qualifying transaction information, rewards, redemptions, campaign participation, and communication preferences relevant to that merchant.
Participating Merchants are responsible for their own products, services, transactions, merchant policies, and independent uses of information. A Participating Merchant may also maintain its own privacy policy or privacy obligations.
Enrollment with one Participating Merchant does not automatically enroll you with unrelated Participating Merchants.
6. Personalization, Customer Groups, and Campaigns
Where permitted by applicable law, Moolah and Participating Merchants may use loyalty and engagement information to personalize the Moolah experience.
For example, information relating to purchase activity, transaction history, Participating Merchant interactions, visit frequency, points activity, rewards, product or category activity, offer redemption, campaign engagement, loyalty status, and account preferences may be used to create customer groups or segments, determine eligibility for rewards or campaigns, provide relevant offers, determine bonus-point eligibility, measure campaign performance, reduce irrelevant offers, and improve loyalty programs.
Using information to determine that an offer or campaign may be relevant to you does not automatically authorize Moolah or a Participating Merchant to send promotional SMS, email, push notifications, or other marketing communications where separate consent or another lawful basis is required
7. Marketing Communications
Moolah may allow you to manage promotional communication preferences for SMS/MMS, email, push notifications, or other supported communication channels.
Where required by applicable law, promotional communications will be sent only after the required permission has been obtained.
Choosing one communication channel does not automatically authorize another. For example, consent to receive promotional email does not automatically constitute consent to receive promotional SMS.
You may change or withdraw applicable communication preferences using methods provided through Moolah, an applicable communication, your device, or the Participating Merchant where appropriate.
Declining promotional communications does not, by itself, prevent you from using ordinary Moolah loyalty functionality.
8. SMS/MMS Privacy and Consent
Moolah may offer optional promotional SMS or MMS messaging programs directly or on behalf of an identified Participating Merchant.
Mobile information, including mobile telephone numbers, SMS/MMS opt-in information, and messaging consent, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Moolah does not sell, rent, purchase, or transfer SMS/MMS opt-in consent for unrelated marketing purposes.
Where you expressly opt in to an identified Participating Merchant’s messaging program, Moolah may process the information necessary to administer that specific program.
Moolah may also use telecommunications providers and other service providers acting on our behalf as reasonably necessary to deliver messages, maintain communication preferences, provide customer support, prevent fraud, maintain security, or operate the authorized messaging service.
Those service providers are not authorized by Moolah to use your mobile number or messaging consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Consent to one Participating Merchant’s messaging program does not automatically authorize promotional messages from an unrelated Participating Merchant.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of an applicable promotional messaging program by replying STOP and may request assistance by replying HELP.
Additional SMS and MMS program rules are described in the Moolah Points Messaging Terms & Conditions.
9. Transactional and Service Communications
Moolah may use your contact information to provide communications reasonably necessary to operate your account or provide Services you request.
These communications may include OTP verification, account verification, password resets, security or fraud alerts, account changes, points or reward confirmations, point-transfer information, customer-support responses, legal notices, and other service-related communications.
Transactional and service communications are separate from promotional marketing communications.
Where permitted by applicable law, withdrawing marketing consent does not necessarily prevent Moolah from sending communications reasonably necessary to provide a requested Service, maintain account security, or comply with legal obligations.
10. Push Notifications
Where supported, the Moolah mobile application may request permission to send push notifications.
Push notifications may include account-related information, loyalty information, rewards, campaigns, offers, or promotional content depending on your preferences and applicable permissions.
You may manage device-level push-notification permissions through your mobile device settings and may also be able to manage Moolah communication preferences within the application.
Changing push-notification permissions does not automatically modify your SMS or email preferences.
11. Email Communications
Where permitted and consistent with your communication preferences, Moolah or an applicable Participating Merchant may send email relating to loyalty programs, rewards, campaigns, offers, account activity, or other Moolah Services.
Promotional emails may include an unsubscribe mechanism where required.
Unsubscribing from promotional email does not automatically modify your SMS, push-notification, or loyalty-program enrollment preferences.
12. How We Disclose Personal Information
Moolah may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for legitimate business, operational, security, legal, or customer-requested purposes.
Participating Merchants
We may provide an applicable Participating Merchant with information reasonably necessary to operate the loyalty program in which you have enrolled, manage merchant-specific points and rewards, resolve transaction or loyalty issues, administer campaigns, and provide other merchant-specific functionality.
Service Providers
We may use service providers to support services such as hosting, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, SMS delivery, email delivery, push notifications, authentication, analytics, technical support, security, fraud prevention, and customer support.
Service providers may process personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide services to Moolah and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
Legal and Safety Requirements
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, court orders, lawful government requests, protect the rights or safety of Moolah or others, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce applicable agreements, or protect the security and integrity of the Services.
Business Transactions
If Vitreous Alliance INC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate protections.
With Your Direction or Consent
We may disclose information where you direct us to do so or otherwise provide appropriate consent.
Regardless of the categories above, mobile telephone numbers and SMS/MMS opt-in consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
13. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Moolah website and related online Services may use cookies or similar technologies to operate website functionality, maintain security, remember preferences, understand usage, diagnose problems, and improve the Services.
Your browser or device may provide controls that allow you to block or delete certain cookies. Disabling certain technologies may affect the availability or operation of some website features.
Where applicable law requires consent for particular cookies or similar technologies, Moolah will use appropriate consent mechanisms.
14. Data Retention
Moolah retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain customer accounts, operate Participating Merchant loyalty programs, satisfy legitimate operational requirements, prevent fraud, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain required consent records, and comply with applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, telecommunications, or contractual obligations.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, Moolah may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable requirements.
Certain records may need to be retained after an account is closed or a deletion request is received where retention is required or permitted by law, including records relating to security, fraud prevention, transactions, consent, opt-out requests, disputes, or legal compliance.
15. Account Closure and Personal Information Deletion
You may request to close or delete your Moolah account through available account functionality or by contacting Moolah.
Closing or deleting a Moolah account may result in the forfeiture of unused merchant-specific points, rewards, coupons, discounts, or other loyalty benefits as described in the Moolah Points Terms & Conditions.
A request to delete your account does not necessarily require immediate deletion of every record associated with your use of Moolah. We may retain information where reasonably necessary or permitted to comply with legal obligations, document consent or opt-out history, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect the Services.
16. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and the laws applicable to you, you may have rights concerning your personal information.
These may include rights to request access to personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, object to or restrict certain processing, receive information about how personal information is used or disclosed, or exercise other rights provided by applicable law.
You may also manage certain information directly through your Moolah account, communication preferences, application permissions, or device settings.
To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information provided in the Contact Us section below.
We may need to verify your identity before completing certain privacy requests.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law.
17. Point Transfers and Privacy
When you use Moolah’s point-transfer functionality, certain information may need to be displayed or processed to identify the intended recipient and complete the transfer.
Moolah will use information related to point transfers for purposes such as completing the requested transfer, maintaining transaction history, preventing fraud, resolving errors or disputes, and enforcing applicable merchant and Moolah rules.
A receiving customer must be enrolled with the same Participating Merchant or merchant group associated with the transferred points, as described in the Moolah Points Terms & Conditions.
18. Security
Moolah uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no system, network, electronic storage method, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your account and should contact Moolah if you believe your account or personal information has been compromised.
19. International Processing and Transfers
Moolah may provide Services across multiple jurisdictions, and personal information may be processed or stored in locations other than the location where you live.
Where required by applicable law, Moolah will take reasonable measures designed to provide appropriate protections for personal information transferred across jurisdictions.
Privacy rights and requirements may vary depending on location. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any privacy right that cannot lawfully be limited.
20. Children’s Privacy
Moolah is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without authorization where such authorization is required by applicable law.
Where applicable law establishes a higher minimum age or requires parental or guardian consent, those requirements will apply.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to Moolah in violation of applicable requirements, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
21. Third-Party Websites and Services
Moolah may contain links to or interact with websites, mobile application stores, POS systems, Participating Merchant services, or other third-party services that are not operated by Moolah.
Those third parties may maintain their own privacy practices and policies.
Moolah is not responsible for the privacy practices of an independent third party, and we encourage you to review the privacy information provided by the applicable third party.
22. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Moolah Services, business practices, technology, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
The Last Updated date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy identifies the most recent version.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
Changes to this Privacy Policy do not, by themselves, create new consent to receive promotional SMS, email, push notifications, or other marketing communications where separate consent is required.
